With heavy hearts, we are saddened to share the news that voice actor Cole Brown has passed away. For over 10 years, Cole contributed his considerable talents to numerous roles on Funimation English dub productions. Anime fans know him best for his many notable roles including Blackbeard in “One Piece,” Heaven Canceller in “A Certain Magical Index,” Vahriz in “The Heroic Legend of Arslan,” the Narrator in “Desert Punk.”
Most recently, fans heard Cole as Lord Redford in “Izetta: The Last Witch.” Friend and fellow actor David Wald will be stepping into Cole’s shoes to continue his legacy on the series.
He will be missed but his voice lives on. Our thoughts go out to his wife Brenda and the rest of his family.
